NDP out polling BC Liberals - Has Christy Clark lost her sparkle?
“And although many party insiders grumble about her leadership now, Clark sure was right about one thing: the Liberals should have called an election right then and there.
She knew her fresh-faced appeal had a best-before date. She knew the B.C. Conservatives would begin to rise. She may have suspected Dix would perform better than her minions believed he would.”
-Michael Smyth, The Province
A lot of people are surprised Adrian “Risky” Dix and the NDP have done as well as they have in recent months. I personally think Dix has been able to ascend his NDP bulldog persona, and surprised the lot of us to become a strong formidable leader for the party.
However, I’m not certain a lot of his gains haven’tbeen thanks to the BC Liberals and Christy Clark’s consistent failures and poor leadership.
This next election may be no different than the last decade: It could just be the Liberals’ to loose.
